From 1 July 2026, providers in registration group 0138 — Assistance with Supported Independent Living are assessed against four supplementary practice standards in addition to the NDIS Practice Standards Core Module. 0138 replaced the previous arrangement under 0115, and existing registrations are varied across automatically.
This tool walks the four standards indicator by indicator. For each one, record whether you hold the evidence, partly hold it, or have nothing yet — and jot where it lives. It takes about fifteen minutes and it is honest work, so answer it the way an auditor would read it rather than the way you would like it to look.

When do the SIL Practice Standards apply from?
From 1 July 2026. Unregistered SIL providers must lodge a registration application by 1 October 2026 — after that, supports can only be claimed up to 30 September 2026.
Is this free, and do I need to give an email address?
Free, and no. No email, account or payment is required at any point. Your answers are never sent to AuditM8 and are not stored on any server.
Does a good score mean I will pass my NDIS audit?
No. Only an approved quality auditor or the NDIS Commission can assess or certify your service. A high score means your evidence is organised, not that an auditor will accept it.
How many indicators does this cover?
25 — six for supported decision-making, six for safeguarding, seven for practice governance, and six for agreements about tenancy, housing and support.
